Part 1: The Seed of the Antichrist

By: Tonya Parrott

There are only 4 verses where the word ‘antichrist’ appears in Scripture.

I John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

I John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

I John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

II John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

So, Scripture teaches that antichrist is a spirit and that it is already ‘in the world.’

And then we see the ‘man of sin’ being referred to as the ‘son of perdition’ in the verses below:

II Thessalonians 2:2-4  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

So, Scripture also teaches that antichrist is a man.

We find the first mention of the ‘sons of God’ in Genesis 6:4:

Genesis 6:4 The Nephilim (giants KJV) were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

Young’s Literal Translation translates the use of the word ‘giants’ in this verse in the KJV as ‘fallen ones’. The New International Version, The New Living Translation, The English Standard Version, The New American Standard Bible, God’s Word Translation, American Standard Version, English Revised Version and the World English Bible all translate the use of the word ‘giants’ here as ‘Nephilim’.

‘Nephilim’ actually comes from the Aramaic word ‘naphil’, which means ‘giants’.    The word ‘nephilim’ is from the root ‘nun-peh-lamed’, which means ‘to fall’. The meaning of the word ‘nephilim’, in its simplest interpretation, is ‘the fallen ones’ or ‘the fallible ones’.

A look at the Nephilim reveals that they were not only fallen angel giants but also sexually immoral beings.

A lot is revealed in Genesis 3:15 when the Lord says, “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”

From this verse, we learn that there are two seeds; one belongs to Eve and the other to Satan. And also that Satan’s destruction would come through Eve’s seed (offspring). Therefore, Satan was bound to do everything in his power to try to stop this by contaminating the human bloodline. His first method of choice is what is revealed in Genesis 6:4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

They are also responsible for introducing the very sins (perversion, sexual immorality, mainly homosexuality and the like) that caused the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Jude 1:6-7a And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion.

The following verses tell us that the Abyss (the bottomless pit) is located on earth.

Revelation 9:1-3 The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss.

And the rest of this passage describes the Nephilim offspring:

Revelation 9:7-10 The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces. Their hair was like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. 10 They had tails with stingers, like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months.

Revelation 9:11 They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer).

Perdition and Abaddon both mean destruction, destroyer.  Therefore, ‘Satan’ was ‘Lucifer’ in heaven but he is referred to as ‘Abaddon’ once he is locked up in the bottomless pit for 1,000 years.

Which means Revelation 20:1-3 has already been fulfilled (the latter part of the chapter being future tense after Abaddon’s (Satan’s) reign as the 8th king over the inhabitants of the earth):

Revelation 17:11 The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction.

Revelation 20:1-3 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.

When the thousand years are ended, he will be set free for a short time. Verses 7-8, therefore, are future tense after his release.

Revelation 20:7-8 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore.

The fallen angels who procreated with the daughters of men are also currently locked in the bottomless pit.   Remember they will also be unleashed on the earth for judgement in the great Day (see Jude 1:6, previously quoted).

Revelation 17:8 The beast, which you saw, once was, now is not, and yet will come up out of the Abyss and go to its destruction. The inhabitants of the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast, because it once was, now is not, and yet will come.

So, Abaddon will ascend from the bottomless pit and will ‘go to its destruction’ or, in other words, Abaddon will begin destroying. Alongside him will be the fallen angels. Look again at Revelation 17:8 (above) and Jude 1:6 (below) and pay close attention to use of wording:

Jude 1:6 And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.

The fallen angels are going to be released to serve judgement upon the inhabitants of the earth along with Abaddon.

This is Abaddon/Satan/Spirit of Antichrist.

Revelation 17:10 They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while.

This is in reference to the 7th king. The 6th king, the one who was in power at the time John wrote the book of Revelation, is still currently in power. The 7th king is coming soon and will remain only for a little while before Abaddon (satan) becomes the 8th and final king and goes to unleashing destruction before being destroyed.

Revelation 17:11  The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction.

Matthew 24:22 If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

Revelation 17:6 The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire.

The beast referred to here is none other than antichrist. The genetic makeup of this ‘union’ for antichrist is part fallen angel (son of God) and part human (man of sin); controlled by the spirit of the son of perdition (now called Abaddon, previously Satan, Lucifer, Baal, etc). This is your Satantic Trinity for The Antichrist.
