With things like drugs, homosexuality, devil worshiping, media corruption and other crimes reaching an all time high, the world is becoming more evil daily.  The Bible tells us that what we see in the book of Genesis regarding the description of the days of Noah is what it will be like before the second coming of Jesus Christ.  This is how we know the Second Coming of Christ is close at hand.

Matthew 24:37  As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

The purpose of one16ministries.com is to inform others around the world of God’s plan for mankind and to lift the veil on the deception we face daily in hopes of revealing the TRUTH.

John 14:6  Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

If you are feeling lost, alone and caught up in sin, I would like to introduce you to my best friend and Savior, Jesus Christ, so that you can make Him the Lord of your life.  Then, you can receive the Holy Spirit through baptism and become the person God created you to be.

If you would like to receive salvation and be granted eternal life in the kingdom of God, all you have to do is ask Jesus Christ to be Lord and Savior of your life. You do that by repenting (turning away from your sins) and asking Him to forgive you of the ones you have already committed in the past. After that, you need to be baptized, completely emerged in a body of water, in the name of Jesus Christ. This is symbolic of your sins being washed away by the blood of Jesus. When you emerge, you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

In Acts 19, after the disciples who had already received the believer’s baptism of repentance (John’s baptism) were again baptized into the name of Jesus Christ, they received the gift of the Holy Spirit through the laying on of hands.

Acts 19:1-6

While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples ² and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?”  They answered, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”  ³ So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?”  “John’s baptism,” they replied.  ⁴ Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” ⁵ On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. ⁶ When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.

The Holy Spirit is our Helper sent by Jesus after he ascended to the right hand of God.

The Holy Spirit will then guide you and help you in the way you are to walk to continue to keep Jesus Christ the Lord of your life. The Spirit will speak to your conscience and convict you (make you feel guilty) if you sin again. And if that happens, you will need to repent and ask for forgiveness again. Stay in repentance, asking for forgiveness, and do not sin purposely so that grace may abound, as this is wrong. You should also read the Holy Bible and surround yourself with others who have made Jesus Christ the Lord of their lives.  You will know them by their fruit.

Galatians 5:22-23a But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ gentleness and self-control.
