The Warring of the Two Seeds

By: Tonya Parrott

I think what a lot of people miss is that there are two seeds (offspring) that occupy this earth; the seed of Eve and the seed of the serpent. What we are experiencing right now is the warring of the seed of the serpent with the seed of Eve.  These offspring are physical descendants of each, as the term ‘enmity’ refers to a blood feud.

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

The seed of the serpent, is referred to as goats and the seed of Eve as sheep.

Matthew 25:31-33 The Sheep and the Goats

31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

The seed of the serpent is referred to as chaff, whereas the seed of Eve as wheat.

Matthew 3:11-12

“I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

The seed of the serpent is referred to as weeds, whereas the seed of Eve as wheat.

Matthew 13:24-30

24 Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26 When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.  27 “The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’  28 “‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.  “The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’  29 “‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’”

The seed of Eve is God’s chosen people.  They are the true Jews.  The false Jews are the seed of the serpent.

Revelation 3:9 I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.

I think the other thing that a lot of people don’t realize right now is that we are not actually battling Satan directly at the moment because he is currently locked in the Abyss (bottomless pit).

Satan is thrown into the Abyss for the thousand years:

Revelation 20:1-3  And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.

We are told the bottomless pit is on the earth.  So, in other words, he is literally ‘in the world’ (see I John 4:3) and at the end of the thousand years, he will be released.

Revelation 9:1-3 The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss.

Revelation 20:7-8 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle.

Revelation 17:8a The beast, which you saw, once was, now is not, and yet will come up out of the Abyss and go to its destruction.

We are currently nearing the end of this ‘Thousand Years’ and are experiencing a shift in the spiritual realm. The 6th king, the same one that was in power at the time John wrote the Book of Revelation, is still currently in power.  (*UPDATE: I believe during Covid-19, we transitioned into the 7th king.)

What we are actually battling right now in the spiritual realm is Jezebel.

 (Jezebel=Babylon=The Queen of Heaven).

Jezebel manifests in the spiritual and physical form.

I Kings 16:29-33  Ahab Becomes King of Israel

In the thirty-eighth year of Asa king of Judah, Ahab son of Omri became king of Israel, and he reigned in Samaria over Israel twenty-two years. 30 Ahab son of Omri did more evil in the eyes of the Lord than any of those before him. 31 He not only considered it trivial to commit the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, but he also married Jezebel daughter of Ethbaal king of the Sidonians, and began to serve Baal and worship him.32 He set up an altar for Baal in the temple of Baal that he built in Samaria. 33 Ahab also made an Asherah pole and did more to arouse the anger of the Lord, the God of Israel, than did all the kings of Israel before him.

So, Jezebel was the physical wife of Ahab who brought back Baal worship to Israel. We read of her in I Kings 18-19 as the false prophetess who murders the prophets of Israel and tries to kill Elijah after their showdown on Mount Carmel.   This is where we find the famous words of Elijah, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.” (I Kings 18:21)   Therefore, Jezebel exhibits control through secretive, manipulative means and produces a spirit of indecision and idolatry in her victims. She seeks to silence the true prophetic move of God and will go to great lengths to do so, as evidenced by her malicious history.

Jezebel was the physical daughter of Ethbaal king of the Sidonians. It is important to note that at this time in history, Sidon (Zidon) and Tyre (Tyrus) were consolidated into one kingdom. So, this means that Jezebel’s father was the King of Tyre as well as Sidon.

Ezekiel 28 is speaking to the King of Tyre, which is Jezebel’s father. However, it is also addressed to the Prince of Tyre, which is obviously Satan.

Tyre=Tyrus and Sidon=Zidon

Both are current day Lebanon.

So, Jezebel is actually the spiritual daughter of Satan. After she is physically murdered in II Kings 9, we only read of her in the spiritual manifestation thereafter. One of which is at John the Baptist’s beheading by Herod via his ‘prostitute,’ Herodias.

Mark 6:14-29 John the Baptist Beheaded

14 King Herod heard about this, for Jesus’ name had become well known. Some were saying, “John the Baptist has been raised from the dead, and that is why miraculous powers are at work in him.”

15 Others said, “He is Elijah.” And still others claimed, “He is a prophet, like one of the prophets of long ago.” 16 But when Herod heard this, he said, “John, whom I beheaded, has been raised from the dead!”

17 For Herod himself had given orders to have John arrested, and he had him bound and put in prison. He did this because of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife, whom he had married. 18 For John had been saying to Herod, “It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.” 19 So Herodias nursed a grudge against John and wanted to kill him. But she was not able to, 20 because Herod feared John and protected him, knowing him to be a righteous and holy man. When Herod heard John, he was greatly puzzled; yet he liked to listen to him.

21 Finally the opportune time came. On his birthday Herod gave a banquet for his high officials and military commanders and the leading men of Galilee. 22 When the daughter of Herodias came in and danced, she pleased Herod and his dinner guests. The king said to the girl, “Ask me for anything you want, and I’ll give it to you.” 23 And he promised her with an oath, “Whatever you ask I will give you, up to half my kingdom.”

24 She went out and said to her mother, “What shall I ask for?” “The head of John the Baptist,” she answered. 25 At once the girl hurried in to the king with the request: “I want you to give me right now the head of John the Baptist on a platter.”

26 The king was greatly distressed, but because of his oaths and his dinner guests, he did not want to refuse her. 27 So he immediately sent an executioner with orders to bring John’s head. The man went, beheaded John in the prison, 28 and brought back his head on a platter. He presented it to the girl, and she gave it to her mother. 29 On hearing of this, John’s disciples came and took his body and laid it in a tomb.

The next major spiritual appearance of Jezebel is in Acts 19, where we clearly see her attacking the baptism, yet again, in Paul’s address to the people of Ephesus. (This is a great indication of the importance of baptism in the name of Jesus in a Christian’s life.) Notice also that, by this point, the people are calling the spirit Diana and that these disputes arose from the students of the school of Tyrannus (meaning absolute ruler, tyrant, prince).

Acts 19 (KJV)

19 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. And all the men were about twelve.

And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God. But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus. 10 And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks. 11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:

12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. 13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.

14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.

15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

17 And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. 18 And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds. 19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver. 20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

21 After these things were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome. 22 So he sent into Macedonia two of them that ministered unto him, Timotheus and Erastus; but he himself stayed in Asia for a season. 23 And the same time there arose no small stir about that way.

24 For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen; 25 Whom he called together with the workmen of like occupation, and said, Sirs, ye know that by this craft we have our wealth. 26 Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:

27 So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.

28 And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians. 29 And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul’s companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre.

30 And when Paul would have entered in unto the people, the disciples suffered him not.

31 And certain of the chief of Asia, which were his friends, sent unto him, desiring him that he would not adventure himself into the theatre. 32 Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused: and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together. 33 And they drew Alexander out of the multitude, the Jews putting him forward. And Alexander beckoned with the hand, and would have made his defence unto the people. 34 But when they knew that he was a Jew, all with one voice about the space of two hours cried out, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.

35 And when the town clerk had appeased the people, he said, Ye men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter? 36 Seeing then that these things cannot be spoken against, ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly.

37 For ye have brought hither these men, which are neither robbers of churches, nor yet blasphemers of your goddess. 38 Wherefore if Demetrius, and the craftsmen which are with him, have a matter against any man, the law is open, and there are deputies: let them implead one another. 39 But if ye enquire any thing concerning other matters, it shall be determined in a lawful assembly. 40 For we are in danger to be called in question for this day’s uproar, there being no cause whereby we may give an account of this concourse.

41 And when he had thus spoken, he dismissed the assembly.

Therefore, Jezebel’s goal is to hinder those from receiving the true Holy Spirit. She is the literal false prophet of the book Revelation. We then see the Jezebel spirit manifest continually throughout the Bible until the Church at Thyatira’s harsh rebuke of her.

Revelation 2:20-25

Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. 21 I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. 22 So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. 23 I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds. 24 Now I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets, ‘I will not impose any other burden on you, 25 except to hold on to what you have until I come.’

Reflection: The Physical and Spiritual Manifestations of Jezebel

Jezebel’s physical father: King of Tyre & Sidon

Jezebel’s spiritual father: Satan.

Jezebel is the physical wife of Ahab.

Jezebel is the spiritual wife of Baal the sun god.

Jezebel’s physical husband, King Ahab, represents Baal.

Jezebel’s spirit is strongly represented as Herodias (indicating her ability to possess individuals) and Diana in the New Testament.

In the spiritual sense, Jezebel entices idolatry and sexual immorality (by SPIRITUAL fornication) by means of witchcraft and sorcery.  She is referred to as the queen of heaven in the book of Jeremiah but is also known by many other names.  She is the same spirit as the goddess Diana, Semiramis, Artemis and the list goes on. Jezebel is the Whore of Babylon (Baby-lon) in Revelation and she is also the False Prophet of the satanic trinity with Satan (i.e. Abaddon) and Antichrist making up the other two parts.  Antichrist=the ‘child’ of Satan and Jezebel.

Revelation 2:20 Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.

The sexual immorality described here is the spiritual adultery committed against God when the teachings of the false prophet, Jezebel, via her ‘traditions of men’ are followed over the commands of the Almighty God.

Rebellion=Witchcraft/Divination/Sorcery

Idolatry=Stubbornness/Arrogance

I Samuel 15:23a  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.

The ultimate manifestation of this are the mixed seed descendants (one parent the seed of Eve, the other parent the seed of the serpent). This is where we get the 7 nations of Canaanites.  These nations are the result of Jezebel’s enticing of sexually immorality manifesting as idolatry.

In Genesis 9, we see Noah cursing Canaan (Ham’s son) and his descendants after an evasively described ‘naked’ incident.

Genesis 9:18-27   And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan.  19 These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.  20 And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard: 21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent. 22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.  23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father’s nakedness.

24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. 25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. 26 And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. 27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

Notice the similarities with Revelation 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

There was obviously something awfully inappropriate that happened in that tent for Noah to curse EVERY future descendant of his grandson.  It implies an act of sexual immorality, which is the fruit of Jezebel.  This clearly defines the re-establishment of the sexual immorality of Jezebel AFTER the flood through Canaan.

Keep in mind the geneology:   Ham>Cush>Nimrod

Nimrod=Founder of Babel (Babylon).

This curse on Canaan would later come to include seven nations of Canaanites.

Deuteronomy 7:1-6   When the LORD your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations-the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, seven nations larger and stronger than you- and when the Lord your God has delivered them over to you and you have defeated them, then you must destroy them totally. Make no treaty with them, and show them no mercy. Do not intermarry with them. Do not give your daughters to their sons or take their daughters for your sons, for they will turn your children away from following me to serve other gods, and the Lord’s anger will burn against you and will quickly destroy you. This is what you are to do to them: Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones, cut down their Asherah poles and burn their idols in the fire. For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.

So, these are the seven nations of Canaanites  (Please note ‘Canaanites’ is widely used in reference to them all but is also the name of one of the nations.)

1. Canaanites 2. Amorites 3. Hittities. 4. Jebusites 5. Hivites 6. Perizzites 7.Girgashites

They are a cursed breed; descendants of the seed of the serpent. That is why God wanted them totally destroyed and for His people not to intermarry with them. Unfortunately, they were unsuccessful in extinguishing them and also disobedient in keeping God’s command. They intermarried with them and produced children with them. Most of the stories in the Old Testament come from God’s people either warring with this race or mixing their worship as well as their seed with them. God warned man not to do this, of the results if they did, and also how He would respond to these actions in the continuation of the chapter:

Deuteronomy 7:7-10 The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. But it was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath he swore to your ancestors that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. 10 But those who hate him he will repay to their face by destruction; he will not be slow to repay to their face those who hate him.

Throughout the Old Testament, God’s people are at war with the seven nations of the Canaanites.  They are the seven heads of Jezebel (Babylon), the prostitute on the beast in Revelation 17:3.

BABYLON, THE PROSTITUTE ON THE BEAST

Revelation 17:1-5

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute, who sits by many waters. With her the kings of the earth committed adultery, and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries.”

Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns. The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries. The name written on her forehead was a mystery:

BABYLON THE GREAT

THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES

AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
