The Interpretation of Daniel 2

By:  Tonya Parrott

I want you all to understand these are my notes from 3 years ago. It is the hardest thing I have ever had to do to keep from going back and editing this with what I’ve been shown since because this Book is ALIVE…the more you study it, the more it reveals…and He walks with me…and He talks with me…and He tells me I am HIS OWN…

In Daniel 2, Nebudchadnezzar had a dream.  Daniel told him his dream and then interpreted it.

Daniel 2:31-45

“Your Majesty looked, and there before you stood a large statue—an enormous, dazzling statue, awesome in appearance.  32 The head of the statue was made of pure gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, 33 its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of baked clay. 34 While you were watching, a rock was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them.  35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were all broken to pieces and became like chaff on a threshing floor in the summer. The wind swept them away without leaving a trace. But the rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain and filled the whole earth.

36 “This was the dream, and now we will interpret it to the king. 37 Your Majesty, you are the king of kings. The God of heaven has given you dominion and power and might and glory; 38 in your hands he has placed all mankind and the beasts of the field and the birds in the sky. Wherever they live, he has made you ruler over them all. You are that head of gold.

39 “After you, another kingdom will arise, inferior to yours. Next, a third kingdom, one of bronze, will rule over the whole earth. 40 Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron—for iron breaks and smashes everything—and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others. 41 Just as you saw that the feet and toes were partly of baked clay and partly of iron, so this will be a divided kingdom; yet it will have some of the strength of iron in it, even as you saw iron mixed with clay. 42 As the toes were partly iron and partly clay, so this kingdom will be partly strong and partly brittle. 43 And just as you saw the iron mixed with baked clay, so the people will be a mixture and will not remain united, any more than iron mixes with clay.

44 “In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. 45 This is the meaning of the vision of the rock cut out of a mountain, but not by human hands—a rock that broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver and the gold to pieces.  “The great God has shown the king what will take place in the future.  The dream is true and its interpretation is trustworthy.”

The breakdown of Nebudchadnezzzer’s dream and it’s meaning is as follows:

1st Kingdom: Head of Pure Gold:  Babylon

2nd Kingdom: Chest and Arms of Silver: Media and Persia (Ram & Goat of Daniel 8)

(The Bible gives us these two.)

3rd Kingdom: Belly and Thighs of Bronze: Greece and Rome

Let me explain:

When Greece conquered Rome, the kingdom was divided into 10 groups.  These 10 groups are as follows:

1.   Alemanni-Germany

2.   Franks-France

3.   Burgundians-Switzerlan

4.   Suevi-Portugal

5.   Lombards-Italy

6.   Visgoths-Spain

7.   Anglo-Saxons-England

8.   Ostrogoths-Uprooted

9.   Vandals-Uprooted

10. Heruli-Uprooted

Three of these groups, The Ostrogoths, Vandals and Heruli, refused to accept the mandates of the Papacy regarding Christ’s divinity and therefore were uprooted by the Papacy.  Seven remained in addition to the Papacy, which represents 3.

This is your 6th head (king)= 10 horns (7 Greece, 3 Rome)

We are currently here biblically.  The 4th kingdom is future and soon approaching.

*Update, I believe during Covid in 2020, we transitioned into the 7th king.

4th Kingdom:

Daniel 2:40-43 Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron—for iron breaks and smashes everything—and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others.

The 4th kingdom includes the legs, feet and toes.  The legs are in reference to the first 3 1/2 years of the tribulation and the feet and toes are in relation to the latter half.

First Half of Tribulation=Canaanites

The two legs symbolize the mixed seed from the 10 tribes of the Northern and Southern Kingdoms, Israel and Judah.

There are seven nations of Canaanites.

Deutoronomy 7:1-10  When the LORD your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations-the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, seven nations larger and stronger than you- and when the Lord your God has delivered them over to you and you have defeated them, then you must destroy them totally. Make no treaty with them, and show them no mercy. Do not intermarry with them. Do not give your daughters to their sons or take their daughters for your sons, for they will turn your children away from following me to serve other gods, and the Lord’s anger will burn against you and will quickly destroy you. This is what you are to do to them: Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones, cut down their Asherah poles and burn their idols in the fire. For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.

The seven nations listed above are descendants of the Nephilim (Genesis 6).  They were a cursed breed; descendants of the fallen angels.  That is why God wanted them totally destroyed and for His people not to intermarry with them.  Unfortunately, they were unsuccessful in extinguishing them and also disobedient in keeping God’s command.  They intermarried with them and produced children with them.  Most of the stories in the Old Testament even come from God’s people either warring with this race or mixing their worship as well as their seed with them.  These descendants are still very much alive today.

God warned man not to do this, of the results if they did, and also how He would respond to these actions in the continuation of the chapter:

The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. But it was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath he swore to your ancestors that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. 10 But those who hate him he will repay to their face by destruction; he will not be slow to repay to their face those who hate him.

In Judges, God’s people are at war with the seven nations of Canaanites (please note Canaanites is in reference to them all but is also the name of one of the nations).

Judges 1:19  The Lord was with the men of Judah. They took possession of the hill country, but they were unable to drive the people from the plains, because they had chariots fitted with iron.

Iron is, therefore, actually the biblical symbol for the mixed seed descendants of the Nephilim, ie., the cursed race (see Genesis 6:4).

These are your ten horns until the mid point of the tribulation.  If you read my paper on Jezebel, you will know that Jezebel is actually Babylon and she was a direct descent of the Canaanites.

Revelation 17

Babylon, the Prostitute on the Beast

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute, who sits by many waters. With her the kings of the earth committed adultery, and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries.”

Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns. The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries. The name written on her forehead was a mystery:

BABYLON THE GREAT

THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES

AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of God’s holy people, the blood of those who bore testimony to Jesus.  When I saw her, I was greatly astonished. Then the angel said to me: “Why are you astonished? I will explain to you the mystery of the woman and of the beast she rides, which has the seven heads and ten horns. The beast, which you saw, once was, now is not, and yet will come up out of the Abyss and go to its destruction. The inhabitants of the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast, because it once was, now is not, and yet will come.

“This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits. 10 They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while. 11 The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction.

12 “The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast. 13 They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast. 14 They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”

15 Then the angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages. 16 The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17 For God has put it into their hearts to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to hand over to the beast their royal authority, until God’s words are fulfilled. 18 The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.”

I would like to call your attention again to a few verses:

This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits. 10 They are also seven kings.

The seven hills are the seven continents.  Remember, the 6th King is where we are currently (with 10 horns=7 Greece, 3 Rome).  This represents the first king of each kingdom who claimed to ‘convert’ to Christianity during the Greco-Roman conversion.  However, this was not a true conversion as they insisted on bringing their pagan worship with them.  This verse describes Jezebel’s (Babylon’s) influence (riding the beast) in ‘mixing’ true Christianity with paganism (syncretism), which is an abomination to God.

10They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while.

The 6th King was in power at the time John received this revelation and is still in power currently. (*Updated above.)

Revelation 1:9  I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.–At this time, John was exiled to the Greek island of Patmos by the Roman Emperor as a form of Christian persecution.

12 The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast.

This means ALL current kings will fall and these 10 will receive a kingdom at this time.  These 10 horns will be the Canaanites of the mixed seed of the 10 Tribes of Israel.  This is your 7th King.  The Canaanites will ‘remain for only a little while,’ ie., for one hour, and receive authority along with Jezebel.

13 They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast.

The beast here in reference is Antichrist.

16 The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute (Jezebel). They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire.

This then branches into the feet and toes just as they ‘branch’ from your legs.  It is in reference to the reign of the Nephilim with Abaddon as their 8th king after they are released from the bottomless pit. (See Revelation 9 for more on this).

Second Half of Tribulation (3 1/2 Years) Nephilim with Abaddon (Antichrist) as their King (the 8th King) for the last 5 months.

At the time of their release from the bottomless pit, Abaddon, the Little Horn, will uproot 3 of these Canaanite kings when he becomes the 8th king.

Daniel 7:24 The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings.

This is last half of the tribulation kingdom:

8th King Abaddon (Antichrist)

7 Canaanite Tribes symbolize iron

The clay symbolizes the Nephilim.

Daniel 2:41-43 Just as you saw that the feet and toes were partly of baked clay and partly of iron, so this will be a divided kingdom; yet it will have some of the strength of iron in it, even as you saw iron mixed with clay. 42 As the toes were partly iron and partly clay, so this kingdom will be partly strong and partly brittle. 43 And just as you saw the iron mixed with baked clay, so the people will be a mixture and will not remain united, any more than iron mixes with clay.

The Final Kingdom:

The statue is struck at its feet by a Rock cut out but not by human hands.  Iron, Clay, Bronze, Silver and Gold are all broken into pieces and became chaff on a threshing floor and the wind sweeps them away without a trace.  The rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain and filled the whole earth.

Daniel 2:44-45 “In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people.

**I created One16ministries in 2015.  I have never asked for donations or monies of any kind.  But I would very much appreciate you checking out my invention at PaciTeether.com and telling anyone you know with a new baby or toddler! 🙂
